About Us
We are a welcoming and thoughtful Christian Church in Poughkeepsie, NY dedicated to helping others grow in their spiritual life by gathering for worship, growing in community, and going out to serve others. We extend to others the same extravagant grace and radical welcome we have received from God through Jesus Christ.
We are people like you who follow Jesus Christ and seek to explore, expand, and express our faith in kind ways. We value beauty, diversity, belonging, and service.
We work to renew the original Christian ideal of inclusion. God decided that everyone is worth His love and attention. Jesus has assured us of this in his words and shown us this in his actions. Christians have spread this assurance throughout the entire world.
Here, we do not put any conditions to that one essential truth:

I'm New
Welcome! That is not just a greeting, that is a core value of our congregation. We believe we have been so incredibly welcomed by God that we are compelled to extend a radical welcome to others.
There's a lot to visiting a church, getting comfortable with those with whom your worship, and feeling like you belong. Listen, we get it. Many of us have been exactly where you are, and some of us are walking that road right now. We know what it's like to have questions, but to not know if you can ask them. We know what it's like to crave community, but feel the difficult of making real-life connections with others. We know what it's like to want to grow spiritually but to not quite know how to go about it.
